Dr Avi Charlton, MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG
SPEAKER, AUTHOR, LIFESTYLE MEDICINE THOUGHT LEADER & BREATHWORK COACH
Dr. Avi Charlton is a speaker, author, podcast host, and thought leader in lifestyle medicine, as well as a family medicine doctor (GP). She is the founder of Melbourne Low Carb Clinic and Breathe in Health, where she supports individuals in reversing chronic conditions and enhancing wellbeing through nutrition, functional breathing, and sustainable lifestyle interventions.
She is the author of Prescribing Lifestyle: A Doctor’s Prescription to Lasting Weight Loss and Vibrant Health, and the host of the Prescribing Lifestyle Podcast, where she shares evidence-based insights and practical strategies to empower people to take charge of their health.
Her speaking style is motivational, inspiring, and empowering, driven by her belief that many chronic diseases can be improved or even healed through lifestyle change, reducing the need for medication and helping people create vibrant health.

Olivia Clayton, MPsych, PsyBA - Clin. Psych

With a particular interest in adult mental health, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, Olivia is passionate about helping women navigate the emotional and psychological changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause.
For over 15 years she has worked across public and private sectors in both clinical and senior management roles and is an AHPRA board-approved supervisor.
Olivia adopts a collaborative, client-centred approach, tailoring her work to the unique needs of the individual, and utilises a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a Clinical Psychologist and Director of Collected Minds.

Elaine has trained and worked in various settings, both in Australia and China. She has over 25 years experience in treating many health problems. Elaine loves to provide a health care experience for people that is respectful, effective, empowering and enjoyable. Elaine has particular expertise in Women's Health, Children's Health, Family Medicine and Wellness promotion.
She brings extra understanding and knowledge to the table since she is in advanced perimenopause. Elaine is also neurodivergent.

Elaine has mentored many students & practitioners. She is a Mum, lives and is a practice founder and owner of Freedom Chinese Medicine in Mansfield (& Melbourne).

Liz Hayes
PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Liz Hayes is a physiotherapist and passionate advocate for women’s health, based in Benalla, Victoria. Living on a farm with her husband, three children and a lively collection of pets, Liz brings over 15 years’ experience across public and private sectors as well as a grounded, authentic perspective to her work and her community.
Since 2008, she has worked across both public and private health settings, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to people from North East Life and Benalla Health. Liz is a women’s health advocate and is driven by a deep commitment to improving access to healthcare in rural areas and ensuring women receive the support they deserve across their lifespan.

Graduating from Monash University in 1994 and attaining her Diploma of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG) in 1998 and Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (RACGP) in 2000, Dr Natasha Ward is an approachable and experienced GP who has been practising for over 30 years, working at Central General Practice.
Natasha believes that empathy, good communication and empowering patients with knowledge and choices, are the basis for providing good patient care and promoting health and wellbeing. She particularly enjoys the challenges, patient trust, continuity of care and multigenerational interaction that General Practice encompasses.
Natasha is interested in all aspects of family medicine with special interests in women’s and paediatric health including menopause, puberty, sexual and reproductive health, antenatal care and preventative health. She regularly attends seminars and conferences in these areas to keep up with the ever changing knowledge, guidelines and recommendations that occur in medicine.

Lisa Bennet, ND, RN
NATUROPATH HERBALIST & NURSE PRACTITIONER CANDIDATE

Lisa Bennett is a highly qualified health professional based in Mansfield, Victoria. She is a degree-qualified naturopath, medical herbalist, registered critical care nurse, and former personal trainer, bringing over 35 years of experience in healthcare. Lisa offers natural solutions for a wide range of health concerns, blending her expertise to provide innovative and holistic approaches to wellbeing.
Currently pursuing her Master of Nursing at Monash University, which she expects to complete in mid-2026, Lisa is working towards becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Her upcoming business, The Wellness NP, will incorporate a wide range of integrative therapies to enhance the health and wellness of the Mansfield community, with a special focus on providing better care for women through all stages of life, including menopause and beyond.​
